Manufacturing - RST Electricals Pvt. Ltd.
our manufacturing plants, efficiency and quality are our top priorities. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, we ensure precision at every stage of the switchboard fabrication process. Our in-house facilities cover the entire workflow, including pre-treatment, powder coating, and rigorous testing.
Our switchboard design has been meticulously refined to achieve a fully modular system. The manufacturing process begins with CNC machines that shear, punch, and cut metal sheets, followed by bending to create frames, covers, and other sheet metal components. These parts undergo a comprehensive pre-treatment process before being electrostatically powder-coated to enhance durability and corrosion resistance.
Once coated, the components are carefully assembled into panels, housing switches and other electrical components to form a complete switchboard. To minimize errors, all metal part specifications are pre-calculated and programmed before fabrication, ensuring precision and consistency in every unit we produce.
Pre-Manufacturing

Before initiating the manufacturing process, we ensure complete accuracy and alignment with client requirements. This includes:
1 - Final Drawing Confirmation: We verify and approve the final design to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly.
2 - Client-Specific Instructions: Any additional specifications or special requirements from the client are reviewed and integrated into the manufacturing plan.
In Process

Our manufacturing process follows a structured approach to ensure precision and quality at every stage:
1 - Metal Parts & Structural Assembly: Unassembled metal components are processed and structured to form the switchboard framework.
2 - Board Assembly & Component Integration: Essential components, equipment, and accessories are systematically installed.
3 - Busbar & CT Assembly: Busbars and Current Transformers (CTs) are meticulously positioned and secured for optimal electrical performance.
4 - Insulation & Fastening: Fibre coverings are applied to insulate joints, while high-quality bolts and screws ensure a robust and secure assembly.
Post-Manufacturing

After the assembly process, every switchboard undergoes rigorous inspection and testing to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Our post-manufacturing process includes:
1 - Factory Inspection: Comprehensive checks on assembly, component placement, and busbar sizing.
2 - Dimensional & Connection Verification: Ensuring accurate switchgear dimensions and secure busbar connections.
3 - Electrical Testing:
a) Insulation Resistance Test – Verifying insulation integrity.
b) High Voltage (HV) Test – Assessing dielectric strength.
c) Primary & Secondary Injection Tests – Validating current flow and relay performance.
d) Functionality Test – Ensuring all components operate as intended.
4 - Finishing & Safety Measures:
a) Internal and external cleaning for a polished final product.
b) Proper placement of danger signs and safety labels.
c) Installation of top angle bars for structural reinforcement.
5 - Packaging & Dispatch: Secure and damage-proof packaging to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
